With the Samsung L830, you’ll find a good / fair point and shoot camera. Its an ultra compact 8.1 megapixel camera with lots of manual controls. Controls include manual exposure mode, a face-detection mode, manual color channel controls, and other basic camera functions. All these are easy to access and are the definite pluses of the camera.
Now, the bad thing about this camera is its quality. Its what hops this camera back, and its rather disappointing. The pictures are noisy. There is no aperture / shutter priority with this camera. And shotting can be a little sluggish.
